Patron’s Medal

The Patron's medal was awarded to Sir Dermot to recognise the importance of his support and encouragement during the founding of the RAF Museum. It is the most recent of only five ever presented by the Museum’s Patron, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh to mark exceptional service.
