Excerpt from a 1941 documentary film telling the story of Polish aircrew during the Battle of Britain, showing Hurricanes of No. 306 Squadron scrambling and in flight. Over 140 Polish personnel fought during the Battle.
The title of the film, ‘The White Eagle’, refers to the Military Eagles, or orły wojskowe, that are used as insignia in the Polish Armed Forces.
