The Fw 190's bubble canopy gave excellent visibility. The writing 'nur hier betreten' on the wings means 'tread only here' and is an instruction to avoid fragile moving parts on the wing. The two bulges between the propeller blades house two synchronised machine guns. The top of the control column is missing and most of the instrumentation has been replaced with later, English-language examples.
