Flight Lieutenant Stephen Andor

Flight Lieutenant Stephen Andor joined the RAF as a student nurse where he studied at university for three years, qualifying as a registered staff nurse. In 2015 Stephen deployed to Sierra Leone to support local medical services in their fight against the Ebola epidemic. Here he prepared patients ready for aeromedical evacuation back to the UK in the Air Transportable Isolator (ATI). Recently he has been helping to plan the military’s assistance to the NHS in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
